Amman - The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Middle East University met in his office the editor-in-chief of Al Ghad Newspaper Mr. Makram Al Tarawneh to discuss ways of academic and cultural cooperation between the two sides. During the meeting, Dr. Yacoub Adel Nasereddin highlighted the significance of communication between MEU and Al Ghad Newspaper. The Chairman praised the reputation of the newspaper and its journalistic professionalism, which made it a reliable source of local and international news.
Dr. Nasereddin stressed that the University is always keen to enhance the participation and openness with all national institutions. He added that MEU look forward to establishing joint cooperation with Al Ghad Newspaper in all fields to serve and promote the Jordanian media in order to achieve the social responsibility towards the society and its members.
In his turn, Mr. Al Tarawneh praised the good reputation of Middle East University, especially the Faculty of Media and its capabilities and graduates. In addition to that, the editor-in-chief said that Al Ghad Newspaper is ready to establish cooperation and partnership with a national institution like Middle East University.
The Middle East University was founded in 2005 as a Graduate Studies University with twelve specializations. Towards the beginning of the academic year 2008-2009 the university opened twenty specializations for both Graduate and Undergraduate students with the ongoing growth in staff and students.
